Games I Would Like To Make

Generally I'm interested in creating persistent world games where players follow their responsibilities and how the social and political interactions on a server level play out

This is a list of game ideas I would like to make. They are usually out of scope for now, but this page shows the direction and style of projects I am interested in

Buried Silo Game

Project page: Games/buriedsilogame.html

BuriedSiloGame is based on the world of Silo (Apple TV+), originally based on the Wool trilogy. This article gives a rough idea of the Silo world.

The game is a 3D multiplayer immersive simulation roleplay game with a focus on department mechanics, social interactions, responsibility, and politics. Physical violence plays only a minor role.

The game world is an underground silo that cannot be left, so there is no outside world to explore. Everything happens within the silo. Vertical traversal is discouraged, and lower floors correlate with lower reputation. Most people try to work their way up. The concept is similar to Snowpiercer, but vertical.

Wolfhole Game

Inspired by Foxhole, with a focus on persistent world gameplay, teamwork, and diverse roles.

Major changes I would make:

  • Better performance to reduce hex-based cross-border issues.
  • More emphasis on faction-shared resources to limit resource bunkering.
  • Less maintenance-heavy gameplay while keeping a decay system.
